This policy explains what personal data Kavis Network ("we", "us") collects when you use kavisnetwork.in, contact us, book a free call or audit, download a resource or join a course, and how we use and protect it. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiry forms (business, working professional, student): your name, WhatsApp number, email, what you're interested in, your company, role or college (optional), your preferred date and time for a free AI audit, and your message. When you submit, the same details also open in WhatsApp so you can send them to us there.
- Course pages: when you register for a course or book a demo, the details asked on that form, such as your name, phone, email, profession, institution or company, city and the time slot you choose.
- Messages: anything you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, used to protect our forms from spam and abuse (for example, limiting how many messages one connection can send).
- Website analytics through Microsoft Clarity: pages you visit, clicks, scrolling, device and browser type and approximate location. Clarity may record sessions to help us improve the site. What you type into our forms is masked and is not recorded. Clarity uses cookies; you can block them in your browser settings.
Content from other services
- Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which can see your IP address.
- YouTube videos on our pages load only when you click play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
2. How we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and to schedule and hold calls, demos and free AI audits.
- To send you what you asked for, such as course details or payment details.
- To run the courses you join: access, doubt-clearing sessions, reminders and support.
- To understand how people use the website so we can improve it, and to keep it secure.
We use your data because you gave it to us for these purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with services that help us run Kavis Network, and only as much as they need:
- our web hosting and email provider, where the website, forms and our mailbox run;
- Microsoft (Clarity analytics), Google (Fonts, and Google Meet for calls) and Meta (WhatsApp, when you message us);
- payment providers, when you pay for a course;
- authorities, if the law requires it.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them for the purposes above, for example while we are in conversation with you, while you are a student, or as long as tax and accounting law requires for payments. After that, we delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.
5. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update it;
- delete it, when we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for;
- stop sending you emails or messages;
- handle a complaint (grievance) about how we use your data.
Write to info@kavisnetwork.in and we'll respond as soon as we can. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India.
6. How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS. Form submissions are stored outside the public part of our server, and only the Kavis Network team can access them. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect your data and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
7. Children
Some of our programmes are for school students. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to fill in the form or contact us for you.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be shown on the website.
